About Glenn’s CDs and Books
Glenn had a passion for writing music. He recorded many songs throughout his lifetime and produced several albums in a variety of musical styles. In 1999, Glenn recorded an original progressive rock album “Occam’s Razor” with his good friend Alan Burant with whom he cowrote many of the songs. In 2015 Glenn successfully released two solo finger-picking albums. “The Old Strathcona Rag and Roll” featuring original and standard fingerstyle guitar/vocals and an instrumental album “Just Pickin’” with original arrangements of popular songs. Glenn’s solo release in 2016 “Five Bucks a Nail” is an all-original blues album featuring songs of love, loss, and hope with humorous anecdotes. Glenn’s 2017 release “Still Pickin’ is the follow up to the acoustic fingerpicking styles of “Just Pickin’” Glenn released a special instrumental fingerstyle guitar Christmas CD in 2018 “12 Songs of Christmas”. Glenn also had a passion for literature. He wrote 7 books on a variety of topics including religion, English expressions and a book on music harmony entitled Gray’s Handbook of Harmony.
