Jimmy and the Shakers 1988-1990

Jimmy and the Shakers was a successful blues/rock band that played in several clubs around Edmonton. The band’s repertoire consisted of a variety of music: Rolling Stones, Doors, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Dwight Yoakam, Willie Nelson, Honeymoon Suite, Billy Idol, Tears for Fears, country, rock and roll, contemporary rock and more. The original members were Jimmy Kravanja – vocals, Glenn Gray – guitar, Steve Mallot – keyboards, Ken Te – bass and Paul Roberts – drums. Alain Levesque took over as the drummer when Paul left the band.
